Alex Doggett is a personal trainer with over 22 years’ experience working across health, fitness, rehabilitation and recovery. His work focuses on helping people rebuild confidence in their bodies, particularly after injury, setbacks or periods away from activity.

Alex’s approach is rooted in functional training and movement-led strength work, with an emphasis on improving core strength, reducing pain, and restoring posture and alignment. Sessions are always adapted to the individual, recognising that progress looks different for everyone.

An Individual, Whole-Person Approach

Training with Alex goes beyond exercise alone. While physical strength and movement are important, equal attention is given to confidence, lifestyle, nutrition and long-term sustainability. The aim is not simply to improve fitness, but to help people feel stronger, more capable and more comfortable in their day-to-day lives.

Working Environment

Alex delivers personal training in his own studio at Cotswolds Health and Fitness Club, working alongside the wider team while operating independently. This allows access to a supportive gym environment while maintaining a highly personal, one-to-one approach.
